Meathead Hat

Here's the photo of my Meathead Hat, as promised. I am loving this pattern! The hat knits up in just a couple of hours on size 15s with super-bulky wool (in this case, Rowan Big Wool). I just finished a second Meathead out of Lamb's Pride Bulky (doubled) as a Christmas gift for a friend's stepdaughter -- what fun!

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone -- enjoy your knitting! :)

That's adorable! Wow...super fast knit and cute...sounds loveable to me! Is this a free pattern, one of your patterns or what? Would love to know:) Is it pointy on top when it's on a head?

Thanks - glad you like it! Yes, it's a little pointy when worn, but in a cute way, not overly elf-like. :) Unfortunately, it's not a free pattern nor is it one of mine. It's from the KAL over at Stitch Marker (http://larissmix.typepad.com/). It's part of the prep for an upcoming book, so everyone who knits a Meathead has a chance for their hat to appear in the book. This particular pattern's KAL is closed now, but Larissa (the author) said she'll be test-knitting more patterns through KALs on her site soon.
